Because of her unusually looking, Dotty – an adorable lamb – was rejected by her mom, shortly after birth. A mix between a pure-bred white Dorper ram and a Dorper and Van Rooy ewe, Dotty was born with some unusually markings on her fur, and due to it she was accepted by her mother. But fortunately, the little Dotty found comfort in someone looking just like her – Zoe, a Dalmatian dog.

John Bolton, the owner of the farm started to hand-fed the lamb, soon after her mom gave up on her, but then he was extremely surprised and pleased to see she found herself a new mom in Zoe, a very gentle dog.

“She’s in season at the moment and [was] sort of feeling that mothering instinct at a time when this lamb was there,” Bolton said. “So it just seemed to be quite a natural thing for her to pick this up and have something to mother.”

The adorable pair soon started to thrive and footages with them spending time together, have soon made the round of world. Watch this unlikely pair in the video below!
