Some people just don’t seem to be able to take ‘no’ for an answer, especially when that refuse interferes with their own plans for the future. Belgian Eric Vekeman is one of those people. After the local council refused to grant him a permit to convert part of its former grocery into a garage for his car, the man came up with an ingenious solution, and in the end, got his way. His garage looks like a usual shop window, so there’s really nothing the authorities can do to prove the garage is there illegally. It also looks pretty cool!
