It’s not something we like to think about, but the truth is that we all face the risk of becoming mentally incapacitated during our lives. Whether it’s a result of getting older, illness or even an accident, becoming mentally incapacitated is something that can happen to any of us at any given time. Dementia is as a general term used to describe a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life. The woman in the picture below suffers from Dementia. The policeman whom you can see sitting by her side actually found her wandering in the woods, looking afraid and confused. He most likely saved her life.
