Nurse Creates “Magical” Yarn Wigs That Are Helping Little Girls Cope With Cancer

Most little girl dream about being real-life princesses, but sadly, they don’t always feel like they deserve the title. A kind-hearted woman decided to play fairy godmother by transforming children with cancer into Disney princesses. The woman uses yarn to create amazing wigs that she then donates to sick kids. Holly Christensen, a former cancer nurse, created the Magic Yarn Project, through which she makes and donates yarn wigs to children with cancer. This comes to show that sometimes a simple idea can make a world of difference. The look on the kids’ faces as they try on the wigs says it all.
