With so many negative stories in the media that involve police officers, it is definitely nice when something positive goes viral. A photo showing a police officer standing on the ground next to a young man is getting shared across the web, and it’s all for the right reasons. The officer in the image is Officer Purdy, and the young man you see standing close to him is a high school student who suffers from autism. According to witnesses, the boy was acting erratically and was threatening to commit suicide. Fortunately, the officer was able to get to him and talk him out of it.
