German shepherds have a bad reputation for being an aggressive, scary breed. A lot of people are afraid to leave their babies around German shepherds, even if the dog has been in the family for a while. It’s unfair, if you ask me. It’s hard to shake off a bad reputation; it’s even harder if you’re a dog. People need to understand that German shepherds make great pets because they are very protective of the people in the family. That includes babies.
