There isn’t anything more powerful on this Earth than the love between a mother and her babies. Always willing to protect her offsprings, impossible is nothing for a mother when it comes to this. Apparently this incredible connection isn’t anywhere more accurate than in the wilderness. The animal kingdom is the toughest place to be born, so maybe that’s why animals always go above and beyond to protect their little ones. This time it is a mother hen who’s heroically protecting her babies from the elements. The beautiful scene was caught on camera and it’s so heartwarming to watch!
Every mother wants her babies to be safe, and this caring hen is no different. So when a heavy rain surprises her and her tiny chicks in the middle of the street, with no time to find shelter, the hen uses he body instead, to keep her beloved babies dry and warm. The moment occurred on the streets of the city of Visakhapatnam in India, and it was filmed by a local. The short footage went viral, warming hearts of millions.
“This video was taken at a local fish market when there was heavy rain, we can see mother’s love in the natures way,” the person who filmed the scene, wrote. “A hen protecting its chicks in heavy rain.”
At least five chicks can be spotted, all adorably sheltered under the protective wings of their mother, melting people’s hearts all over the internet. “Some animals are better parents than humans,” one person wrote. While another one described the video as “so adorable, just wished the owner would have them under cover as they did with whatever is underneath that green tarp.” A mother will always be a mother!
