Losing a family member is one of the hardest things anyone can experience in life. And, as the touching video below clearly demonstrates, this is not only true for humans but for animals as well.
The clip shows a Rottweiler’s tear-jerking reaction when he realized his brother had passed away, and it is likely to bring tears to your eyes.
Despite realizing his beloved brother is gone, he doesn’t want to leave his side. And although his owner does his best to comfort him during this difficult moment, the dog is just overwhelmed with sadness.
According to the clip’s brief description on YouTube, the two dogs had grown up together, and despite being brothers, they were also the best of friends.
Rottweilers often get a bad rap and are labelled as being extremely aggressive dogs, but as you can see from this clip, they are actually kind, gentle dogs that have a huge heart filled with love. As heartbreaking as it is to watch this scene, it’s beautiful to see dogs have such strong emotions and so much love for one another.
