Deliver guys always make us happy, but for this Colorado family was even more than that. The FedEx driver from their neighborhood just let them know he has a very special delivery for them – their lost dog!
Lisa Menzies from Castle Pines, Colorado, and her husband, were out their house, when their 3-year-old dog sneaked outside the house. Catcher – an adorable Golden Retriever, took advantage of a door opened by the wind, and went for a walk, all alone. The moment was caught on by the doorbell camera!

“We were having some repairs done on the house,” Lisa explained to told KDVR. “Our contractor left to go to lunch and shut the front door, and the wind blew the door open while I was gone, and Catcher escaped. She could have wandered out to a busy road and you hate to think what’s going to happen then.”
Fortunately, it didn’t take too long, until the escaped dog was in safe hands. An heroic deliver driver spotted the dog wondering on the streets, and decided to investigate. Thankfully, Catcher was wearing a collar, so the nice driver messaged Lisa.

“He just said, ‘I found your dog, and the address on her tag is where I’m going to take her’ and then he put her in the house with such care,” the woman said.
Later that day, the Good Samaritan delivered the lost dog back to her family. The moment was also caught on by the Ring camera! Take a look:
“He was taking such care and love with her that it was really amusing,” Lisa said. “He interrupted his day and his package delivery schedule to pick her up and hand carry her into our home and lock the door behind him. I don’t want to think about where else she could have ended up, He is certainly our family’s hero.”
