Life can be extremely tough for stray dogs. They are not just forced to find food on their own, but they also have to face the elements without a shelter over their heads. Not just rain, or the freezing temperatures can cause problems for homeless animals, but the hot summer days as well.
Aware of that, this store in Mexico decided to do a sweet act of kindness for a stray puppy. They just let him in, to cool off during a very hot summer day. The beautiful moment was caught on camera by one of the store’s clients, and the snaps went viral online!
“He has been here for several days. We think he was left behind by his owner,” the administrator of the store said. ” He came to us for help, so we could provide him with food, water and some toys from the store that we paid with our money. We also let him inside because the temperature outside is really hell-like. We feel bad for him, but he looks happier around the store.”
The dog was indeed much happier inside the store, and one of the clients noticed this thing. Adolfo Pazzi Ahumada who lives in the neighborhood, went to the store to buy some milk, when spotted the adorable scene. Without knowing what happened, he asked the clerk. Soon as he learned about the puppy’s heartbreaking story, he also decided to help him by buying him a treat. Kindness can be contagious, after all!
“I felt bad for what the dog has passed through,” the man explained to The Dodo. “But he is now receiving the love he deserves.”
