Everybody loves naps, right? But we’re pretty sure your recipe for the perfect nap doesn’t include cuddling with a big wild cat like a cheetah, right? Well, unless you’re the man in the video below!
Dolph Volker is a volunteer at the Cheetah Experience in South Africa, and gets to do some pretty amazing things, as well as experience some rare moments that most of us can only dream about. Like taking a nap with a beautiful cheetah, for instance. It all happened unexpectedly, but fortunately the whole magnificent interaction between the two was caught on camera. And it’s nothing short of adorable!
The man lied on the grass to get some rest for a couple of minutes in the perimeter of the organization where he works for, and where the population of cheetahs are being preserved. It’s then when a female cheetah came close to him and decided to sit right next to him.
This type of behavior is extremely rare, as these big cats don’t usually appreciate seeing humans in their territory. However, during the time he has worked at the organization, the man managed to win their confidence and establish a trusty relationship with them.
